Media & Communications Manager
Salary $70k + super, full time
Supervise Communications Coordinator (.6), Events Manager (.8)
Reporting to General Manager

Sustainable Table is looking for someone with a wealth of
corporate or not-for-profit experience in developing and delivering effective
media and communications campaigns. This person must be a confident public
speaker, have the ability to effectively lead and manage people and be
comfortable working within a small team with limited resources. It is important
that the successful candidate is passionate about food-related environmental
issues and can speak to this with confidence; however they do not need to have
specifically worked in this field before.
The Media and Communications Manager will work closely with
the General Manager to develop and deliver the communications, events and
fundraising strategy. The organisation is currently small and agile, which we
intend to maintain in order to nurture creativity and new approaches to
delivering our goals, yet we do want the successful candidate to be able to
implement effective processes to enable the team to maximise efficiency.
We are looking for someone who wants to invest their energy
into positive change, who doesn’t shy away from responsibility and financial
targets and someone who is willing to put in the hard yards during peak
campaign and event periods.
